My Story
Hi, I’m Beverly Dunlap, the owner of Dragonfly Cabinetry Designs, LLC. In 1991, I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Interior Design. I spent many years searching for a career that would incorporate my degree. I stumbled into Kitchen and Bath Design and was instantly hooked. In 1996, I began my career as a Kitchen and Bath designer at Buckeye Do It Center in Ohio. In 2001, I relocated to Tennessee to further my career.
In 2002, I joined Hermitage Kitchen Center (later known as Hearthstone Cabinetry) in the Hermitage, TN/Old Hickory, TN. For the next nineteen years, I have designed many kitchens and baths for my clients, creating many lasting relationships with individuals, interior designers and contractors. My love of design combined with my ability to relate to my clients’ expectations has created some impressive kitchens and baths. In August of 2021, Hearthstone Cabinetry was sold, and I decided to realize my dream of owning my own kitchen and bath design showroom.

Dragonfly Cabinetry Designs, LLC roots itself in the integrity of the past while keeping abreast of the latest trends and designs for a future of success. Aesthetic movements come and go, but we have found these principles to be timeless.
I work with highly qualified installers that have worked with me for years. The installers are committed to customer service and excellence. They are very detail oriented individuals and have high standards for the finished product.
As a business owner, I strive for honesty and clarity. My first job is to understand the client’s vision and needs, not to present my own. I am a detail-oriented designer as well as an expert at CAD 20/20 design and room layouts. I value timeliness, direct communication and can provide detailed renderings of your space.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to collaborate with excellent clients on wonderful projects, and I hope to continue my journey and obsession to create beautiful and functional spaces for my past and future clientele.
